Misfits Crowned 2026 Slowpitch Softball League Champions

After 11 rounds of competition (with only one game cancelled due to the weather), the 2026 Slowpitch Softball League Championship saw the top two teams face off, with Misfits (#1) taking on Team Pants (#2).

The Grand Final featured two teams from very different backgrounds. Team Pants brought plenty of baseball experience, while Misfits were a group of teeball parents determined to prove to their kids that they really did know what they were doing—even if some had never played a diamond sport before!

In the end, Misfits put together a fantastic team performance to claim a convincing Championship win.

The celebrations didn't stop there, with the winners' kids taking over the diamond for their own game of softball while the team celebrated the title—and even squeezed in a few birthday cheers.

Congratulations also go to Carl Perera from Pitch Please, who was named the 2026 Season MVP after an outstanding year.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this competition happen, whether it was playing, umpiring, or hospitality.
