U18 GIRLS & BOYS NATIONALS

U18 GIRLS & BOYS NATIONALS
From the 16th - 21st of January 2024, Softball WA played host to the U18 Girls and Boys National Championships.
A week of hot weather was filled with huge hits and game-saving plays, before QLD Boys and NSW Girls were crowned Champions.
The WA teams both progressed deep into the finals, after a terrific run in the Round games. The WA Boys finished in 2nd on the ladder with 8 wins out of 12, and the Girls climbed into 3rd with 6 wins from their 10 games. The Girls unfortunately lost out in the Preliminary Final to QLD, while the Boys pushed through to a Grand Final berth and claimed runners-up.
Softball WA would like to thank all of those who volunteered their time to help with the grounds, facility, canteen/bar and ticket booth. As well as the full-time staff involved in the event. Without the many helping hands, we would not be able to host such a large scale event like this.
To the traveling teams and supporters, we hope you enjoyed your time in WA, and we hope to see you all again soon.
